Field Trips 2018-2019

Milwaukee Walking Tour: Thursday, Sept 13 at 10:00
This is a walking tour of the historic buildings in downtown Milwaukee. The tour lasts about 2 hours. We will stop at McDonald’s or Culver’s for lunch.
Miller Park Tour: Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 10:00
This is a tour of Miller Park. We will get to see the visiting dugout, locker room and radio and TV rooms. The tour lasts about 90 minutes.
Capitol/Veterans’ Museum Tour: Wednesday, March 20 at 10:00 and 12:30
We will first tour the capitol and then walk across the street to the Veterans’ Museum. This field trip lasts the entire school day. We will eat at a pizza place near the capitol in Madison.
Honey Creek Log School House: Monday, May 6 at 10:00
This is an interactive field trip in which the children pretend that they are attending school back in the 1840’s. It is a two hour field trip.
Old World Wisconsin: Wednesday, May 15
This is a field trip that takes the entire school day. We will go to three areas the Village and Harmony Town Hall. The class will get to play games that children would have played back in the 1800’s. It is an outdoor field trip. The class will need to bring a sack lunch.
