The Bible tells us "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)
In partnership with Good Shepherd's Lutheran School, our Sunday school (K4-grade 6) gives children the opportunity to hear and learn God's Word through stories, songs, activities, crafts and fellowship. Youth group teens (grades 7-12) will have special fellowship opportunities (watch for upcoming details) and are encouraged to join the adult Bible study in the church fellowship hall. Childcare will be available in the church (lower level) during the Sunday school/Bible class hour for babies and young children.
Classes meet on Sunday mornings in the school building from 9:15-10:15am during the school year (September-May). This schedule allows parents to also "grow in grace and knowledge..." through Bible Class attendance at church. Children of all levels of instruction will benefit from Sunday school, whether they are new to Bible lessons or have heard them many times. We look forward to having your child learn and grow with us this year!
Please register your child for this year's Sunday School/Childcare for planning purposes. If you have questions, please contact Pastor Wempner, Ahnsharee Klusmeyer, or Ginny Mundstock, Sunday School Administrators.

Special Announcement:
Sunday School at Home
Free lessons from Northwestern Publishing House

Parents can now download six weeks of Christ-Light Sunday School lessons for free, compliments of Northwestern Publishing House, so they can offer Sunday school at home.
Bible stories offered follow the life of Jesus, including several of his miracles and the events of Holy Week and Easter. Besides the student lessons, parents can download coloring sheets and other activities as well as a teacher’s guide to help them share the lesson with their children. Different levels are available for children ranging in age from pre-kindergarten to grade six.
