Our Living Praise (Contemporary) worship services
are held on the first Sunday of the month at 9:15am and 10:45am. The Living Praise services use a variety of musical instruments (electric keyboard, guitar, drums, etc.), and vocalists to lead in the singing of songs with more contemporary melodies. Words for songs and Scripture readings along with additional visual enhancements are projected on a screen. The worship style is more free-flowing and less liturgical than our traditional services. The focus of the Living Praise service is the same as our traditional services: Jesus Christ as our Redeemer.
Our Traditional worship services
are held at 7:45am on the first Sunday of the month and at 6:30pm on the Monday following the first Sunday. Traditional worship takes place at all services (7:45am, 9:15am, 10:45am, Monday 6:30pm) on the second, third, fourth, and fifth Sundays of the month. Our traditional worship services follow a liturgy: a framework and pattern of spoken and sung worship prayers and responses that offer set locations for the insertion of Scripture readings and hymns. The liturgy and hymns that are used during traditional worship are primarily drawn from our hymnal Christian Worship and Christian Worship Supplement, published and copyrighted by Northwestern Publishing House. Hymnals for use by worshipers are located in racks directly in front of each seating row.
