 Women's Bible Study
Bible study for women and taught by women. The group meets Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm, September through May, except during Advent and Lent. Location: church meeting room.

 Advent by Candlelight
Advent by Candlelight is an opportunity for women of all ages to set aside the hustle and bustle of holiday preparation and focus their minds and hearts on the birth of Christ. Hostesses decorate a table with a Christmas theme using their own decorations and provide a dessert for their table. The ladies then enjoy music, devotions, and Scripture readings by candlelight. Women are encouraged to invite guests to share in this spiritually rich preparation for Christmas.
 Busy Hands
Women with talents or interest in crafts and sewing gather to accomplish service projects for the church and for people served by our congregation. Gift items are made for homebound residents, people new to our community, college students, families with a new baby, and many others. Sewing repair projects for the church such as choir robe or altar parament repair are accomplished. The Busy Hands group enjoys fellowship while doing their helpful projects. Meetings are held monthly from September to May at 9:30am on the third Tuesday of the month. New faces are always welcome!
 Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS)
“LWMS is women dedicated to serving Jesus by increasing awareness of, interest in, and support of the mission outreach of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).”
As WELS women we believe that Jesus was speaking to each of us when he directed his disciples to "...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19
To this end we freely give of the time, talents, and treasures with which God has richly blessed us.
Good Shepherd's is one of the 900 LWMS member congregations, belonging to the Milwaukee Metro-South Circuit. We are pleased to report that many of our Good Shepherd's women have an active role in the service projects and fellowship opportunities of the LWMS. Women's Ministry Committee of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS)
Motivated solely by the gospel, WELS Women’s Ministry exists to assist our congregations in nurturing, encouraging, and equipping women to faithfully and fully use their God-given gifts to glorify God. It serves under WELS Commission on Adult Discipleship. The committee organizes an annual Women's Christian Leadership Conference.
