Children and Teens

These children and teen groups meet Sundays at 9:15a September through May.
Location: school building.
Adults
Bible studies are held throughout the week on various topics and in several styles and formats. Come every week or just once in a while. While the content of most studies is aimed at adults, teens and children are also welcome to attend. It is up to the parent to decide if the topic is appropriate for their children. The church fellowship hall and church meeting room, located on the lower level, can each be reached through the church entryway via the stairs or the elevator. Summer Sunday Topics
Under the direction of the pastors, lay leaders guide participants through study of Scripture using the Christ Light Bible Curriculum for adults. Location: church fellowship hall.

Taught by Pastor Robert Koester, editor of Adult Discipleship at Northwestern Publishing House. Class meets on selected dates in June and July.

Brew & Bible
Led by Pastor Knickelbein. Enjoy food and fellowship while studying the Bible.
Location: Cream City Custard 84th Street just south of Greenfield Ave.

Women's Topics
Bible study for women and taught by women. Study meets September through May, except during Advent and Lent.

Senior Topics
Bible study for seniors, although anyone is welcome to attend.

People Close To God
What are the main teachings of the Bible? What is the purpose of life? Why is there pain and suffering in the world? Where did the Bible come from and can it be trusted?
Led by Pastor Wilcox or Pastor Knickelbein. This fourteen session course is repeated several times each year. Those who wish to attend this course but are not available on Thursdays can request that the course be scheduled or repeated on other days or times. All members of Good Shepherd's are encouraged to take this course to review the chief teachings of the Christian faith. This course also prepares any participant for church membership, but there is no obligation to become a member.
